oh yea did you guys hear how the semester is changing next semester to 12 weeks instead of 14 =/

Most of the subjects are designed for around 13-14 weeks though. Longer lectures?

OMG. ASR sucks.

Got pretty poor for it :/ First theory question screwed me over big time. I got 6/20 for it :burn: *sigh* They ask like a question worth like 4 marks or something max and slap a 10 mark allocation on it. Lame.

He's full of shit though. Assignment takes maximum- a week give or take and depending on how many people you have.

Sorry for the noob question lol. I thought it was an IT subject but didn't find anything similar to ASR.

What's the BStats assignment like now? Coz I did it when it was still BIA.

This semester we got live data on basically what people think about the new Driving P-Plate laws that recently came out. So the first 3 weeks we got 10 people each (potentially 10*number of students enrolled) to fill out this survey.
Rest of the assignment is just writing a 1 page report on each lecture topic (1 to 8). It simulates emails from a bogus 'public reactions of government decisions' company; in which you have to respond to prove a particular point e.g. “Younger people tend to think that they are relatively less risky drivers compared to older people.” Analysis --> Workings --> Presentation of Results --> Discussion and Conclusion.
