Has anyone done this subject and been to this camp? Can you like not go and provide a doctors certificate?
Hows the atmosphere and shit, cos i really dont wanna go to live in the bush for 4 days...
This camp is the only reason im not choosing the subject.

yes
you should go otherwise you'll lose like 30% of your course mark

it's a really good atmosphere people make a lot of friends and most people drink a lot

you're not living in the bush for 4 days you're living in accommodation at a cattle station with all your food etc. taken care of and taking private coach buses to work sites

it's good for networking across the bees faculty as well

just do it it's fine

^What classicjimbo said. Not sure how much it's changed though since I did this course 4 years ago, but the camp was awesome - it made the course to be honest. If you study earth sciences, it's a wam booster. If you're thinking of doing it as a gened though, I'd have to warn you that it is a pretty full on course.
