A girl wore a nice white suit to my year 10 formal and she brought her gf who wore a beautiful dress. That didn't really look odd, in fact, I actually quite liked it.

One of my friends wore a white suit to the Year 12 formal. She wore it with a pretty top/camisole underneath. She's very tall and had long hair so managed to pull it off well. I think suits makes short girls look shorter. Only suits tall-ish girls, I reckon.

I totally agree!
I don't see why we should conform to stereotypical attire. I, being a male, am wearing a dress to our formal.

My best friend wore a pale pink suit to the yr 12 formal. It was fitted and she wore a pretty top, and she didn't look like a lesbian.
Another girl wore a white suit, and she looked good too. Straight, also.

Err they both wore heels and their hair down. Maybe this added to them not being lesbians?

Faces covered, but I assure you they look very pretty and are not lesbians

The back of my dear friend...

Ok so the first photo was scanned from prints and thus looks a bit dodge, and I have no idea why someone took a picture of bums in the second photo, but you get the idea.

Yeah I think you're thinking of chicks in guys suits, with big boxy shoulders and straight leg pants. But suits for girls are very tailored and nice.
