It is swearing and swearing is not something I enjoy doing because it is a sign of a disability to express one's thoughts with a correct vocabulary. It is also a preparation for future life where swearing is a real problem with certain people, especially those who swear a lot in their youth. And it just doesn't sound nice.
actually, swearing is a valid form of expression. it's something thats been integrated into our language as quite the normal, and it's marketable like in those new adds with the whole "bloody oath" or whatever people had a whinge about haha
so really, swearing isn't a sign of an inability to express what you think, extra vocabulary means you can more accurately express what you think or feel. fucking hell is probably makes you sound like less of an arse than "by jove blimey cricket!"
etc.

as always im taking the piss coz some people take themselves too seriously haha

so.... what is this thread about currently? like to go back on topic?

"im ever so smart, its hard to find girls as smart as me"

is that what you're saying?

you want a girl with an opinion?

You're too opinionated to give room for other people's opinions as far as I'm concerned
.

I was not looking for a girl when I started this thread, I think I have stressed that fact enough. You seem to think that there is correlation between being highly opinionated and stubbornness. That is not the case in general nor with me, the fact that I have opinions does not keep me from changing those. I change them on a daily basis for that matter.

It's the internet, dearest. No need for intellect competitions. The internet shows no crisis for any person to shine through, to show their true colours and debate with you. Especially in a thread in love and relationships.
I am not in an "intellect competition" like you seem to think. I am here to create a discussion, which will hopefully allow me to re-assess my personal opinions and allow others to do the same. I agree that "Love and Relationships" might not have been the best past to start it, but well now it is done.

yes i understand you didnt want to find a girl, stop misunderstanding me

if you want to share ideas, you dont just create a thread and talk mindlessly about anything, or discuss, for that matter. you create a topic.

In which case, that is what the "topic title" is for.

Please make note of it.

I'm voting this thread to be closed.

Most disorganised discussion ever.

If you wish, vote for it to be closed, but just explain why you want it closed.

I JUST DID

youve explained that this thread was made, apparently, to 'discuss' about 'deep' issues. Apparently not to discuss whether it is actually hard to find a girl with an opinion. In which case, you cannot blame people to think this. You've posted in love and relationships, your topic title, and your first post. You've also expressed you want something similar to an open thread to discuss anything in particular, economics, and so forth.

I feel the sub-forums, and NCAP are sufficient, dont you agree?

It is not a personal attack. It is a useless thread in a forum which already supplies your 'discussive' needs.

Exactly. Why the fuck is it that boys are allowed to talk about stupid boy things, but if a girl wants to talk about something silly and trivial they are seen as flakey and shallow?

This is the dumbest thread ever.
