depends on what you like. the grid book is good for graphs and writing, but the grid is often small, so if you have small hand writing use the grid. but if you have big hand writing use the lined paper.

Lined paper makes maths inherently more legible for me.

Use lines since that's what the exam will be on

My teacher made me use the grid books for 6 years...what ever makes him happy. Personally, I would have like to use lined paper.

I use grid book as it makes me use up less pages and its more neat.
Lined paper is fine but i just fine I use way too many pages compared to a grid book

LINES!

In grid: If you leave a space between your working out, it's too large. If you don't, it looks squished.

Conclusion: Use lined paper

LINED!!!!!
like madharris said...that's what exams will be on
may as well get used to it now since you won't have handy little boxes for hsc exams and stuff....
plus, lined ones look so much nicer and neater and the grids are only really handy when you're drawing graphs, apart from that theyre a tad annoying
our teachers told us we had to get lined ones (for the whole 'thats what you'l have in exams' reason)

Blank paper (srs). That's what I do anyway- do the maths and then chuck it out lol. Though if you want to keep notes in a central location or look back over your work, then a book would probs be better in which case get lined imo

I used grid paper, but in year 12 I started using lined paper more. Either way, it's a personal choice I reckon.

Lines.

Grid makes it a bit... illegible I think.

Blank makes my writing go at funny angles.

+1

as long as you understand the concepts you don't really need to keep it
