I wrote the answers to all my questions on the exam so i could take them out and my teacher could mark them. some of them I got wrong, my teacher said I got about 95/100 so I tried to remember the actual answers to the ones I got wrong.
I only wrote the final answers, not the working out. Also, I haven't included the drawings and graphs.

EDIT: There are mistakes here, will fix them soon.

Q23.
A)806.25
B) ii] 302
iii] No, 180.33333 is not a whole number.
C) $6700
D) i] 10m cubed
ii] 633cm

Q24.
A) i] 900mm
ii] 2000 x 2000
iii] 9695
iv] 1815 (You had to work out the scale of 1mm and then measure the windows with a ruler)
B) i] 10
ii] 8/72
iii] 5
C)i] 55 degrees
ii] 13km
iii] I made a mistake in "Cii" by putting down 14km instead of 13km so I got 249 degrees for this question. I think my teacher got 230 or something, but I can't remember sorry.

Q25.
A) i] catagorical
ii] I said: "The number of text messages sent per day" but anything that involves numbers would do.
iii] I said: "Pick 1 person from each year group in every school in NSW" and my teacher said that was correct.
iv] all high school students in NSW
B)i] year 12 with 100%
ii]year 10
iii] as the year group age increases so does the percentage of students with phones.
C) i] 580
ii] 172/319
iii] 42%
D) i] Male 71
ii] 9

Q26.
A) i] 5
ii] 1/2
iii] 2/3
iv] lose $1.50
B)i] 3645
ii]8
C) $552.50

Q27.
B) I got both of these wrong because I didn't read the question properly, there might be other people on the forums that will let you know the answers for these.
i] 30km
ii] i said 4 S 208 W

C) i] -2
ii] both -2

D)Joe had the best with $69,827.91... Emma had $55409.36

Q28.
A) i] p = a/v
ii] (Equation was P = 6/v) P = 1.5
B) i] -4000
ii] show the depreciation each year
iii] y= -4000x + 60000
iv] values less than 0, values greater than 15.
v] 2638.83
vi] Her salvage value gets lower and lower and closer and closer to 0 but never reaches 0.

Hope this helped, good luck with the rest of your exams!

A)806.25
B) ii] 203
iii] No, 180.33333 is not a whole number.
I'm pretty sure these two are wrong, the ii) is 302 sticks not 203 and iii) was like 17something.3333

i THINK the equation was 5+(99x3) for the 100 sticks which = 302

Q.23 b ii- i got 302, because the equation was 3x + 2, figure 100., (c) was $6700 1.340 x 5000, , Q.24 (iii) 260 degrees was 259 to nearest degree., Q27 (i) i got 30,048 km, (ii) 112 degrees E, 4 degrees S , Q27 (d) i got emma i dont know how you got your answer but its obviois your on is incorrect after 15 years at 6% interest is going to be alot more 50,000(1.06)^15 = 119827,90

For Q27(d) u had to note the financial gain which was the result minus the contributions and her contributions were 500*180 therefore it was Joesphine

Can someone do 26)c) Please.
I got a diffrent answer to the other guy but i used the present value formula. 17000/ (1.19)^5= $7123.83 + $17000 =$24123.84 / 5 / 12 = $402.06, im not sure about this question thougj alot of peoe used simple interest?

It said flat rate loan, which means a flat rate of interest, which means simple interest.
It wasnt charged monthly, the interest was charged annually, and broken down into months, so you put the question into the simple interest formula, with P = 17000, r = 19/100 and n = 5
Then work that out, and add to 17000, and then divide by twelve, which gives you 552.5
Hope that helps

Thanks bro, can you do 24)c)I and ii
Yuuup.

i- the total angle of B was 114degrees. and you needed to find the right hand part of that. Soo, you constructed a triangle on the left hand side, by drawing a line horizontally from A across to the line going up from B. Cause the bearing of B from A is 121, you can work out that the angle in that triangle at A is 31degrees (121-90). Then you know the length AB is 6, so you use SOH CAH TOA and find the angle at B in that triangle. Then to find the bearing, you minus that angle (I think 59 or something) from 114 degrees.

ii - contruct that line at AC and use the cosine rule, with 6km, 9km and COS114 and then find c^2, which was 15 i think to the nearest km

How did you get 1815mm rather than 1800mm flat? May I ask you type up how you worked it out?
