Talk, do demonstrations, gives us some notes and some example questions of what to expect in exams, and set us homework from the dotpoint book.

so would you rather he did blackboard notes than just demonstrated & asked u to make notes urself?
Remember you can not call them blackboards any more but you have to call them chalkboards... damn political correctness

most schools are getting whiteboards now since chalk dust is supposedly a health hazard

i'd rather use whiteboard markers than chalk anyway....

back to teaching

my teachers:

english - awful...he yelled at me when i forgot to bring my othello (and like half the class didn't bring it.) and made my friend cry.

maths - pretty good.

science - really good, but i just dont get the content (and that's my fault because i'm awful at chemistry).

geography - umm...sort of strange. we asked her if we should put our numbers instead of names on our assignments, and she said "No girls, because I don't know your numbers" -- ummm...that's the point. and she has the habit of calling everyone "hon".

history - totally hilarious. and a really good teacher too.

pdh/pe - she reminds me a lot of miss trunchbull (from Matilda). she made a girl in our class run 8 laps of the oval because she was wearing the wrong socks...

Ideally I'd like to use computer projectors like they have at uni for everything

but they'd just get vandalized :(
Most public schools are installing smartboards and projectors, thx to Mr. Rudd

Our school got rid of all the chalkboards. Now we only have whiteboards and smartboards.
I prefer whiteboards, although smartboards are pretty cool. Smartboards stuff up at times which is annoying.

I don't have any extremely awesome teachers. Most of my teachers are just 'ok'.

English- craaaaap. seriously. she cannot teach and gets side tracked every 5 minutes. She yells way too much as well.

Math- He's okay. He's new (I'm guessing straight from uni or something?) At first he couldn't explain things very well, but now he's pretty good at explaining. He mucks around with us as well. Tad sarcastic at times though. T_T

Science- Everyone in my class loves the way he teaches. Well, he's not bad, he's really informative but he just talks and talks. I learn better when I actually write things down. AND! He picks on me. ( Apparently because I always look lost? ) oh well.

Geo/Hist- Informative. Gives awesome notes. Teaches okay. Very monotonous.

the rest... nothing to say.
