Depends on the subject. And the workload would vary from person to person.

Though generally, most people would have to put in a consistent effort throughout the year.

Varies from student to student, subject to subject, circumstance to circumstance - or any variety of other factors.

preety easy - definitely not impossible,

just know your stuff and how to apply it and you'll be fine..
seriously no need to stress and put in excessive amounts of work.
cramming worked for me :)

I wouldn't say it'd be hard... but it won't be easy. I did barely any study for chem except for trials and externals (something I thoroughly regret), but still managed to pull an 86. Just put in solid and consistent effort throughout the year and you'll be fine.

Just get 16/20+ for your assessments and you'll get borderline band 6.

Yes, it definitely depends on the subject.
I guess if you put in the effort consistently, you should be able to achieve Band 6.

This is the key, cramming will get you a high band 6 at best, instead of doing 1 or 2 subjects intensely each night try studying ALL of your subjects each night even if it is for a shorter period of time..

Just average in 90+ for all assessments and exams and external and you can guarantee yourself a band 6.
In other words, 4< hours of study each day.

yeah people are being particularly nasty and i dont know why

but really i dont think many people can say they got a band six without putting some work in. i mean the hsc is pretty easy, get a copy of the syllabus and you can rote learn that shit mostly.

I got a band 6 in pdh and that was the subject I least studied for lol. I think it depends on luck as well as all the reasons everyone has said . Everyone has their weakness's,If they r unlucky and are tested on that then its harder to achieve that band 6.
