No such thing. Burning out is just an excuse.

Dont be offended Absolutezero.
I sir, am offended. I challenge you to a duel.

In all honesty though, 6 hours a night, on top of what is done at school. That's 12 hours on school work. Healthy amount of sleep is 8 hours. That leaves you with 4 hours. Factor in eating, travelling to school, personal hygine etc.

That would leave you with a maximum less than three hours to yourself, to socialise, to relax etc.

My point? You may not burn out, but you'll have a shit time living IMO.

Challenge accepted. LOL jk please don't hurt me.

I dont do much at school given my teachers are crap, which probably explains why i have no problem with doing a couple hours.

I know. And we established earlier that you have no social life at all. That's not good.

sorry just wanted to know....i do partly agree that when people say they burn out it is a bit of an excuse but the HSC is hard for people who really do put in the effort.....

im so sick of people constantly whinging about their marks and shitty teachers when i think students should take responsibility for the marks they get.
you dont work as hard as other people = you shouldnt expect to get the same marks.

I'm starting to study more & write notes. I usually start with maths because I find it the easiest to revise and then I'm on a roll! xD I just find it really easy to keep going once I've started. Minus English. That really takes a lot of work and concentration for me.

I probably study 1-2 hours per day and leading up to exams I increase it to 2-3 hours per day depending on the subject. I also get my healthy 8 hours of sleep. :)

Story of my life lol. I hear it everyday, and i dont even understand where people come from when they have such great ambitions and expect to get there with little effort. After exams i always see some of my friends breakdown and such, but to be honest they've brought it on themselves. They'd clearly given up when they told me the night before that they hadn't studied and are waiting for masterchef to come on. Riddduucurous.
