You can probably work it out by noting which units you do first semester. If it's a 6CP unit, add 4, if it is a 3CP unit, add 2.

USyd is USyd

At UNSW:
ACCT1501: 3.5 hours
ECON1101: 3 hours
ECON1202: 3 hours (1 hour lab every 3 weeks)
LAWS1052: 5 hours (I just checked the handbook)

so correction, 14.5 hours

Yep. 15 Hours or so a week contact. About the same or more at home reading. Plus your own time researching and writing essays and preparing notes for the exams/ study for exams. I'm not sure if usyd is open book law.

Com = less research, less reading, but more study (I presume)

Arts = More research, more reading (way to much sometimes), more essays, pretty much no study.
How many hours per week is your course Asquithian?

I have plenty of friends in Com/Law - it aint that hard.
You'll enjoy law (presumably), and so you wont mind the set readings and research, and Commerce is, well, hard to describe..you dont love it, yet you don't hate it - you just to do it.
