I saw that someone got a state ranking of 3rd with 96/100 for General Maths.
Is this 96/100 raw hsc mark or the aligned mark that we get the day before UAI?

So assuming my school assessment mark is 93, do i need a 98+ to get a state ranking? (Estimated)

I would assume that depends on your rank. I thought if u were coming first, and the state ranking cut off was 96, then you just need a 96+ to get a state ranking.

Well im rank 2 and at a school ranked about 100ish

get 95+ aligned and you'll get state ranking.

You'll just have to wait and see. Getting a state rank isn't something that makes you god-like... it's just bragging rights for a few weeks.

Lol, well you see much higher marks in other subjects. I thought there would have been a higher mark for state ranks.... especially 1st in the state.

I accelerated 2/3U maths and will be sitting the HSC exams this year.

4U, I started a little while ago (but with another friend, non-accelerant).

Im just curious, i am coming 2nd at my school in HSC mathematics. If i got 100% in HSC mathematics exam, would i get a state rank?
