I didn't do the Gantt chart in pencil, will I be penalised? (1 Viewer)

Hmm... well it is against the rules, but if the marker is nice, u shouldn't be penalised for small things like that.

As I've said in another thread, I did my ENTIRE gantt chart in pencil, and also my "user interface" screen.

The lady came up to me and told me that it had to be in pen (black or blue).

I finally took a few minutes out to rub it all out and do it again in pen.

So that's what I did... I really don't think you'll lose marks, but if you do, then it's a lesson to read the instructions (we were allowed to use pencil in our trial exam for Context Diagrams, DFDs and system flow charts... so that's why I used pencil, but went over it in pen and rubbed out the pencil )

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking... it's the procedure/rules.

I did mine in pen also.. I didn't see them as diagrams, I saw them just as "table-like pictures" Oh well, I'll live.. as long as they don't take off full marks! (I can't afford to lose 6 marks)

I thought a Gantt chart was a chart and didn't count as a diagram, so I did it in pen. I did the user interface thingy in pencil though, because I knew I would have to rub stuff out.
