hello

i am a student, who is ranked 1st in physics, chemistry, latin, latin extension, maths(3 + 4 unit) in my school. however, my english(advanced) is terrible, (ranked 23rd / 70 ).

my question is, assuming that i will score a band 6, (a high band 6) in all my subjects except english, is it possible for me to get a UAI of 99.55 + ?

i want to go to sydney univ combined law. i need 99.55. please answer!!

the main component of latin is essentially writing essays in english.

and depends on how high a band 6 you get and how low a mark you get in english.

and my other subjects are near 100%.

genius or troll?

70% english- if you get that in the exam you're looking at a borderline band 4/5ish imo.
Which means you'd need some pretty insane marks in your other subjects, like 95+ to get into law and usyd.

I think so but you'll have to try really hard for the 6 in english. If you're in a high-ranking school then yes it's very possible.

I think I'm the best person to answer your question.

My cousin who did 4U maths, adv english, physics and chemistry got 99.65. He scored band 6's in each of his subjects bar English, in which he got 87 I think it was. So yeah, you could still get 99.55, but then again, my cousin went to a school ranked in the top 10.
