Goldendawn has succesfully returned from the "anabasis", the trip up country, and is now high on Coca Cola. Goldendawn encountered some difficulties on the way. He was waylaid by his mother, who made him also go to the proverbial butcher, baker and candlestick maker as well as getting his Coke.

jhakka apologizes for assuming fuckfoot was male, however he believes that this tomfoolery is all in the name of fun and can always be momentarily suspended should a user in need of help or advice happen upon the forum. In such a situation, jhakka feels that it most appropriate to answer any questions before reverting back to tomfoolery.

jhakka doesn't mind Mathematics, though he wishes IPT was less boring.

The last time Goldendawn did maths was in Year 9 Intermediate where he barely got 71% after working his butt off.

jhakka appreciates the logic of maths, however he does not appreciate ridiculously difficult questions that require illogical rearranging of accaptable ideas.

Goldendawn can appreciate abstract maths, where mathematical logic moves into the realms of philosophy and metaphysics; and where it can find a purposeful application. Goldendawn does not understand the reason for solely making cold calculations, even though he finds that calculating can be interesting. For Goldendawn, mathematical logic needs to be tempered by creative understanding . This can be attributed to Goldendawn's overuse of the left side of his brain.

This is why Goldendawn's 'working out' of maths problems was creative but illogical.

jhakka appears to be somewhat more balanced in how his brain works, though he definitely favours whichever side is more creative. He appreciates logic and believes that it can be interesting to see what variables can make numbers do.

Jhakka seems to be capable in dually mathematics and language, which is lucky for him. Goldendawn's I.Q, by comparison, is lopsided. The clinical psychologist said that he is "clinically interesting" in her report.

jhakka feels lucky that he is competent in most areas that he applies himself to. He believes that this is because of how people use their brains and is not suggesting that he is better than any other person who may have more difficulty in certain areas.

Goldendawn acknowledges that no one is superior to anyone else. Goldendawn's brain is just arranged differently; and he thinks of this as his personal gift, just as everyone else's unque makeup is their gift.

jhakka agrees with goldendawn, stating that being skilled in one area more than others is no indication of the quality of the person. jhakka has often admired goldendawn's use of language and occasionally wishes he was slightly more capable of manipulating it.
