Well, for Lynneh's question - Dreamerish is the girl that sounds like u_i_c who posts helpful stuff all the time in the chemistry subforum. Incidentally she is also seems to know Airness in real life. However Airness(James) voluntarily got himself banned. So now whenever Airness(James) wishes to say something, he posts using Dreamerish' account. The sum and total of this is the multi-gendered girl known as James.:)

In response to James' question, Evan doesn't know what he thinks about his MW aside from the fact that Evan believes it is unlikely to get above E1, he is merely ecstatic that it's all OVER!:D

Pointy Ears is positive that Evan is more than likely to get above E1 and that he is merely having post MW doubts which may mess with his abilities of estimation.:D

lol. After recent marking trends Evan is just going to assume he gets the bottom mark in the state for every subject so that when his UAI comes around he can still be ecstatic.:)
Evan also welcomes Pointy Ears to the luxurious thread known as I-PR, kick back and relax and let third person flow.

Hello to the congregated!

James would like to know whether candidates are marked down for grammatical errors in their RS. For example, if James wrote something like "However, Amy Heckerling's Clueless, I recognised etc" where there was supposed to be a "through" before "Amy". Will the markers deduct marks from James for such careless slips of logic?

Furthermore, James has managed to footnote some of his quotes but forgot to footnote other quotes.

James has discovered all these errors just today...when the MWs are undoubtedly already at the marking centre.

Justin doesn't know.

Justin would suggest that if James wants to post, regardless of his voluntary ban, then he should send Justin a PM so he can request that his account be unbanned. It'll make everyone else's life easier.

You don't know? :( Does anyone know?
James needs his doubts to either be confirmed or shot down. Either one is fine. James needs to STOP THINKING ABOUT IT ! >=(

Hmmm and no, James doesn't want to be unbanned. If James gets unbanned, he'll be encouraged to post more and post in NS and L&R. And that's not good. So no.

Evan advises James2 to just let it all go, we're former students of this course now, and the marks we will get are as good as set in stone now. So just revel in the freedom from EE2.

Lynn has decided to be somewhat cryptic over the internet. Here's a favourite quote from today.

"Just because other people do it doesn't mean it's ok".

Lynn muses on the unconfortable time when children feel so strongly about something, they are compelled to confront their "elders and betters" about it - even if it risks getting their heads blown off. Although she also feels that it is far better to say what one feels they *must* say, rather than try to ignore it. Even if it doesn't sink in, one has said it. And that's the important part, isn't it?

Evan understands what Lynn is saying and feeling, but remember no one is truly your better and it is always important that you say what needs to be said, regardless of the other persons ego.

Evan notes that James is back in his Airness account which means all the exiles have returned! Yay!

Evan also asks Marcus, Lynn and Matt how their performance went?

The Air has wooshed back into IPR! :D

Take a deep breath everyone......AHHHHH! James smells better than ever huh? :)

Oh and little damned Monique back too =P But James misses her in her Damnation account. Monique, you can just PM the mods and tell them to unban that one.

Also, could the wonderful Lynn and Justin possibly go over to the 2005 showcase and wipe out all the useless rhetoric that some idiot has unshamedly stirred up recently? 3 vacuous pages have gone by filled with useless banter save the occaisional feedback on some posted work.

And speaking of feedback, James must be off to read/comment on another one of the wonderful works that has been posted :)

Justin and Lynn have spent hours between us trying to clean that thread up. The sheer amount of deletions required was phenomenal. :(
