Yeah, do your Commerce-y subjects and try again next semester. If it still doesn't work though, you now have done 4 subjects that won't count towards Economics and you'll have to stay back extra most likely, to fulfill degree requirements.

So it's a risk. But it'll inspire you to do better. Well, it should inspire you at least.
Yeah, I was pushing hard to get to the WAM in sem2 (shocking sem1). Just seeing what options are available at this stage

sem 1: 69.750, sem 2: 78.750.
It says 75 WAM and 36 UOC requirement for B Comm. I've passed 48 UOC. Maybe it's possible for them to consider my highest 36UOC (definitely over 75 wam)?

I talked to the Science people when I was thinking of transferring - and they said that what they posted are minimum requirements and that it's very unlikely to get through below that.

The higher your WAM is against the minimum WAM, the more likely your transfer.

So when I transferred, I had two WAMs that had to be considered - I was at least 6 above both the minimums - and I got through.

Possibly. From what I've asked and understood, that WAM requirement is just there to show competitiveness. There might be 200 places available, and the 200th student might have a WAM of 80. The WAM isn't the only requirement, all 5 criteria points must be met, and the last one is "Places available in program".

Thanks for all the information guys. The bright side is that I don't really need to do MGMT1001 anymore next semester!
