You can't copyright technology such as a 5 megapixel camera, videocalling... Any new features of the iPhone 4.

You can simply claim that you developed the "new technology" and copyright the name you make up for it.
ohk in other words its "existing / new tech" put to good use or used in a efficient manner? lol

Nope. It's just Apple coming to the party about four generations late and compensating using clever marketing.

There are plenty of phones out there with a very, very similar set of features.

yea but other phones just don't do them right, they don't hit all the right spots (not saying apple does but they get damn close). :)

But they can patent the IP if it uses a new way of doing something.

I bet a broadband wifi connection would outrun a 3 g connection any day, u watch... light is magnetic repulsions that causes electrons to just keep repelling...Anyways the electronic transmissions that go to your phone is not sunlight....and because there are a lot of people connected to 3g all at once (like most of the world) but AUST would have its own satellites etc, its going to be slow and sluggish.

ive seen what 3g can do, if u like it better than wifi good luck to u then, thats why apple said facechat is for wifi only, its faster more and more steady.
you must be trolling there is not way anyone is this dumb.

But I can't help myself. mobile phones use microwaves which do infact travel at c, and are in fact faster than even fibre optics (refraction index is 1.48), mobile phone cells are up to about 30 km apart.

And FYI satellites are at 36,000 km high
