Im not good with technology so i thought i might ask on here since all you youngies know how teh ipods work.

I got an ipod nano.

Now I want to delete podcasts from playing on my ipod, but when I go into itunes, and click on my name to get the files, they appear as grey and i cant delete them. I dont have the time to scroll through the pages of the online help manuals...i just want a quick answer please.

Also how would i keep them on itunes but not play them on ipod? Same with songs? When i go to itunes, and in the side bar, in the library section, when i click on music, iget my music files but when i click on podcasts it doesnt come up with anything.

I had downloaded the podcasts to the ipod but i thought it puts it in both..doesnt it..coz thats what happens with the music files!

on the left menu bar thing click your ipod or its name basically whateer you've called the ipod
then there should be some boxes that you can click
click 'manually manage music'

this ensures that when you sync more stuff the old stuff won't be overwritten and that you can delete items at your own leisure
