Iran virgin prisoners raped for 'legal' executions | World News | News.com.au

Executions ... the militiaman has exposed a part of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's, pictured left, religious regime in Iran.

  • Female virgins "forcibly married"
  • Then "raped to make exeuctions legal"
  • Girls feared rape more than executions
MEMBERS of Iran's feared Basij militia forcibly marry female virgin prisoners the night before scheduled executions, raping their new "wives" and making it religiously acceptable to execute them, a self-professed member of the paramilitary group says.

The anonymous militiaman, exposing a part of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's religious regime in Iran, told The Jerusalem Post that at age 18 he was "given the honor to temporarily marry young girls before they were sentenced to death".

In the Islamic Republic of Iran it is illegal to execute a woman if she is a virgin, the former guard said.

So the Government arranges "wedding" ceremonies to be conducted the night before executions, and prisoners are forced to have sexual intercourse with a guard, Fox News reported.

Raped by her new "husband," a female prisoner is now fit to be put to death.

"I regret that, even though the marriages were legal," said the militiaman, who told the Jerusalem Post he had just been released from prison himself after freeing two teenagers rounded up during post-election protests.

Some of the prisoners in his care were drugged with sleeping pills to make them docile, as the girls in their custody always fought back, he said, fearing the night of the rape more deeply than their executions the following day.

"I remember hearing them cry and scream after (the rape) was over," he told the paper.

"I will never forget how this one girl clawed at her own face and neck with her finger nails afterwards. She had deep scratches all over her."

Lol Yeah Fox NEws and Jerusalem post

But still what a disgusting barbaric culture. I hope i am hard pressed to find someone who condones this sort of behaviour. Executions are bad enough, but hey lets rape the girls beforehand.

They were tried in a real court and locked up. You are crazy to admit that Iran doesnt know this happens.

Exactly. Unfortunately, these Iranians might not be charged because of their crude law system that is allowing them to undertake in such activities.

Horrific. To be honest reports of this sort of thing are frequent, and as a result desensitizing - but I'm teary-eyed thinking about those girls.
Interesting how this sort of thing doesn't occur in Australia. Yet we have such a debauched culture, eh?

Which basically the whole point of this thread.

No it's not. The whole point of this insipid thread is to 'expose' "Arab culture." If you had written underneath this article that it were about Iran's problems with law enforcement and their legal system, the thread may have gone a different direction.

My thoughts are that certain aspects of Arab culture are the root of much of Iran's problems with law enforcement and their legal system.

Of course certain aspects such as the concept of male domination do play their part. However, this is extreme and beyond human and moral.

The concept of male domination is by no means exclusive to Islamic culture.
Although, tellingly :
Tabari IX:113: "Allah permits you to shut them (women) in separate rooms and to beat them, but not severely. If they abstain, they have the right to food and clothing. Treat women well for they are like domestic animals and they possess nothing themselves. Allah has made the enjoyment of their bodies lawful in his Quran."
Culture is entrenched in fundamental Islam.
EDIT: Some Arab countries have attempted to modify what was once culturally accepted. Kudos to them.

False quote - fraud.
In Quran 9:113 is
113. It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allâh's Forgiveness for the Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief).

If you got that off the internet (which you did), it's a hoax. A hoax that was circulating around just like the 72 virgins passage, and the 9/11 passage.

It was sent to me - I apologise I ought to have verified.
EDIT: Wait - I've read parts of the Quran and I distinctly remember the passage about the virgins in paradise. What do you mean by saying it is a hoax?
EDIT 2: I'm not convinced that what I quoted was invalid. If you have proof of it being false, I'll be more than happy to change my mind.

yes, the jerusalem post does have a ring to it....

but i doubt that roller was making an attack on the arab culture, rather was trying to expose iranian culture. am i right, wrong?

but whats happening is totally wrong, extreme, and me, being a muslim, find it giving a bad image.

you dont see this type of stuff in more developed islamic countries such as UAE and Qatar.

anyhow, instead of all the muslims focusing on allegations made upon them, should actually try to asses the problem before it is assesed in the open. Rather than cacausians taking offence to this, the other arab countries should have, as it also gives them a bad image....but have they....*crickets*...

we all have a resonsibility when such cruelty is taking place.

god that's absolutely disgusting...

some of these people are despicable, not to mention it's probably against islam anyway... they just twist the religion and the law to suit their own purposes.
