if anything, the songs they play leading up to the broadcast of the top 50 are more triple j influenced, im talking bout the songs that air from midnight till whatever time on saturday morning the top 50 is shown. Like josiekiller said the top 50 is based on the Aria top 50 - it is based on the likes of the Australian Public - it indicates a change in what's becoming more popular with members of the australia public..... which is influenced by the fact that cd stores are decreasing the sales of independent cds..
