mate, the british introduced the aborigines to large scale violence, stole their lands, raped their women, separated them from their children, killed half of them off with diseases they had no immunity to, and tried to assimilate them into supposedly "superior" western culture while ostracising them at the same time.

granted, the aborigines weren't perfect either, they also did a bit in retaliation and they're screwing themselvesup now too. BUT it was all catalysed by the arrival of the british and their rough treatment of them and though that rough treatment may have stopped by now, abos are still feeling the after effects of it all.

Aborigines were nomadic, they don't all live together... thus there was no true "large scale violence" at least not as large scale as when the british came.

Then if they were 'nomadic', how could their lands be stolen? Because a nomad has no fixed location for living.
