I want to study medicine at James cook university and recently became aware that there is an application that you have to hand in in order to get in. One of the questions ask "What activities (paid employment, work experience or voluntary work) have you undertaken, in addition to your studies, which indicate your motivation to study Medicine or another Health Professional degree at James Cook University?". I want to volunteer somewhere to help improve my application's quality, however dont know where to volunteer. So are there any recommendations. (year 11). I live in Sydney.

Ask any doctors/ physiotherapist/ anyone in a health field if you can shadow them for a couple of weeks. This is what I am doing.

You could even do work experience at your local pharmacy or doctor. That's what I did for yr 10 work experience

You can post your request on Airstudy and ask for help. They have many Medicine students there and you can get help there I guess.
