well i've gotta say that it's a damn good thing for the labor party that mark went out. he was seriously a bad politician...a loose cannon who'd just say anything without consulting his cabinet. arrogant, rude...ok i think i've established my latham-hatingness...lol.
rudd would have been a really good, nice, stable leader...i'm rather astonished that beazley is the only serious contender for the leadership. i think it's a shame that labor doesn't have enough talent. like, ok, gillard's a very intelligent lady, but she hasn't been in parliament long enough. the last thing labor needs is another L-plater leader. (wooot go my alliteration).
