This is an example of what I (and my group) compiled on our case last year -
http://www.boredofstudies.org/james/Damjanovic v Maley.pdf

The most important thing is to sit down and completely work through it. Can be productive to do so with friends (up to a point). I have a copy of our actual test and answers etc, but not in digital form, sorry.

You don't have to actually do that much. Plus, that document was the product of a joint effort.

I think I would have only referred to, at most, half of it during the test itself. Hmm, I also prepared some essay responses (you can usually predict the questions), not quite sure where they are though.

did you do well?

i thought that prepared responses weren't such a good thing, but it's such a weird exam with all the books/notes you want. would it be possible for you to scan and put up your answers? i'm interested in 'how you write for law' sort of stuff, of which we haven't actually done any of.

oh! and our teacher told us that it wasn't (strictly speaking) ok to team up with people/ talk about the case, let alone produce something like those notes about it ... hmm

that's weird ?

admittedly he said, 'it would be ridiculous to expect you not to talk about the case with each other, but in an ideal world you would all prepare individually'

They're generally not good because it's generally not possible to predict questions (and so you end up trying to shape your prepared answer to the question and it is never nearly as good as it could have been). I would have abandoned my prepared answers had I been given different questions - and, in fact, one of my questions was different. I only used one of my prepared answers (on the rule of law).

Believe it or not, I actually don't have a scanner. I'm happy to photocopy pages for you though, if you feel they'd be useful... or I can upload other law assignments I've done (e.g. casenote). They're not very similar to your class test though.

Hahah! Just forget about that. We had many huge group discussions. Tutors are obliged to say that sort of thing.
