I only watched it until Bob Geldof & the Boomtown Rats did I Don't Like Mondays, which was one of the songs I was waiting for. So yeah, missed Pink Floyd, The Who (hope Nine will show them tonight), Sting, and Paul McCartney at the end.

Green Day were on for a while..

I watched it until 2am then taped the rest. Haven't watched it yet, but from what I did watch- U2 were alright, Dido sounded awful, Simon Le Bon looked totally bored and the guys from a-ha can't sing as well as they used to.

The crowds were huge though. That was quite cool. Good cause.

I wanna see Madonna's performance.

Nine's coverage sucks. But then, it did go an hour overtime and Pink Floyd were just geting started ...

What do you mean it went over an hour overtime? Their broadcast went as scheduled. They should've broadcasted it for the whole day but they probably won't get high ratings considering most people have cable T.V.. Darn bastards.

the coverage did kinda suck... but seriously, as if they were going to just play all of pink flloyd n the who n u2 n coldplay etc etc etc... the demographic watching is really wide so naturally they're gonna play a wide range of bits n pieces of crap coz like..better to have everyone liking one or 2 bits than a few people liking all of it and everyone else hatin it....

Bjork's was awesome - found a link for it on the net... So was Dave Matthews and Alicia Keys and Angelique Kidjo but none of em were televised

Good Charlotte sucked..then again i think they're totally talentless so even if they were god by their standards i'd probably still think they sucked

worst of the whole thing had to be Dido - never heard an artist absolutely murder their own song in as royal a manner as she did... she sang "7 seconds" with Youssou N'dor.. i spose at least she sang in key unlike her songs but her crappy attempt just made Neneh Cherry look even better

i suppose these kinda thing sreally show who's taking ultimate advantage of computer touch ups in their recordings
