It pretty much just shows us everythng that happened down in the hatch as well as what happened to Michael, Sawyer and Jin.

The snowman part is because Desmond finds Locke in the hatch and says "Are you him?" to which Locke says "yes" and then Desmond says "What did one snowman say to the other?" which is obviously some kind of identifying question for Desmond. Locke didn't know the answer so the gig was up.

I like season 2 so far. Episode 2 didn't really move the plot but it was enjoyable nonetheless - all because of that scene with Kate crawling through the vent (HABAHABA).

Can't wait till Wednesday (although I probably won't have it on my pc till like friday...)

If you're that impatient I believe that there is a 5 minute promo clip of episode 3 out somewhere. I don't want to see it because then episode 3 won't be fun but I believe that you can see some of the new characters in it (the others). I've seen a couple of screenshots.

i did see that, its at the end of the 2nd episode. it doesn't show much....just the others and the 3 men fighting or something, and locke, jack and kate talking and arguing with desmond. nothing revealing.
