Heya guys, just curious...(and helping out some friends)
what did you all have to do for your major project...and when / what time of year did you do yours ? ? ?
- was it a huge percentage of your HSC mark - if so, what percentage (if you can remember tee hee )
and also
- was it cumpolsory in every school .

mines worth 30% and it has to facilitate a learning tool for HSC student, or teaching resource for a teacher

we gotta create an educational program that performs basic search sort routines... We have to visually show the input, process and output of data all through VBasic...not very easy yet doable...

My class was really good. Teacher gave us option to do whatever we wanted to.
It stared about week 4 term 1, finished week 8 term 2...

I made a simple simple internet and network chat program

Not exactly compulsory, however the course states you must spend 20% of the time on a computer, and its a great way to cover that chapter in the syllabus.. so almost 99.99999% schools would do it

I bet my sdd class has the most assessment tasks.
I'm currently doing my 3^rd task but most of them are only worth 10-15%

Worth 40% (Half is the program, 20% documentation, 15% Project management, 10% test data, 5% demonstration)
