In my physics exam trig identities were provided.
They should do that for HSC.

Dude, you crazy? Circle geometry is so easy. It's in the same category as probability, sequences and series, integration. The hard stuff is quadratic polynomial, calculus, locus,trig. My word is final btw.

If it's in the same category as those topics why is it only in the EXTENSION course while probability, sequences and series, integration is included in the 2unit course. How the hell would you know about Circle geometry anyway? It says in your sig you do 2 unit maths.

The reason we see more people bitching about English is because it is compulsory, whereas Maths is not. Those who hate Maths have the option of not doing it all, whereas those who hate English don't have that option.

A) why dont u just drop maths?

B) or if u cant, try books like phoenix exam Q's by topic or success one, which have fully worked solutions, then if u cant get the question, look at the solution.

C)just wing it

p.s. maths is like one easy subject. there is always a definite number and you can always check if you got your answer write. and once you do the exercises and write them out each time you will remember them

not really, for any real number there is an infinite amount of unreal solutions which equal it. So you could in theory have a lot of answers for a question.

No, in Physics we had to keep memorisation to a minimum and that's what sets us apart from other subjects especially those that involve a fair amount of theory.
Memorising isn't useful as I found later on, it's how you solve it is what really matters.

I did 3u in year 11. Found it the easiest topic out of anything we did. Maybe it's just the way my brain works that a topic like circle geometry is a lot easier for me than locus etc. We're all different.

It's called an infinite geometric series with ratio 9/10, you silly gronk.

yeah but that doesn't make sense, the logic doesn't make sense. let me explain:

1/3 + 2/3 = 1 do you agree with that?
which means
0.333333333... + 0.66666666... = 1
which means 0.99999999....= 1

or you could do it this way:

x=0.99999999..... then that means
10x=9.9999999.....
subtract x from 10x
9x=9
which means x=1


the so called 'logic' in maths, is fucked up.
