only if your a relatively accurate graph drawer

you don't need a graph drawer to sketch y = tan(x-60)... it just the normal tan curve shifted right 60 degrees..... unless......

2) we know that 2^10=1024, so that 2^10 has 4 digits. how many digits are there in 2^1000 when written as a numeral?
3)[a-5] = [2-2a] i know how to do this but i dont know how to show the relevant working. can someone please show me the full working?
thanks in advance guys. any help is much appreciated.:)

1)

A = p(1+r)^n
= 1000(1+0.035)^20 = 1989.78886...

Can you re-write the Q2 & 3? They are quite vague in a sense.

The formula is the compound interest formula given as:

A = p(1+r)^n where A = invested money + interest and p = invested money and r is the rate and n = number of years/months

Re: ASAP help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

A - Amount invested w/ interest
P - Payment or sum of money deposited
r - Rate (expressed as a percentage)
n - Time

a-5 = -2+2a
-a = 3
a = -3

a-5 = 2-2a
3a = 7
a = 7/3

.'. a = -3 or 7/3

[ ] is the modulus/ absolute value.
b) 301 numbers.

c)

[a-5] = [2-2a]
a-5 = 2-2a or a-5 = 2a - 2
3a = 7 or a = -3
a= 7/3 or a=-3

Check each solution: when a=7/3, LHS = RHS
when a = -3, LHS = RHS

Re: maths again

Perpindicular distance formula with x - y = 0 with P(x,y) and equate it to sqrt2.

if you want the answer, just reply again.
