ok for iPod prospective buyers, and owners, i'm not sure if Mac has released it in Aus, but they have a new deal of 100 dollars or so to extend your warranty to an additional 2 years, which you can surely be rest assured if anything happens to your battery.

I got an ipod, the battery is annoying. Itunes is more annoying tho trust me... with apple stuff u have to be very sensitive :S There is however the Zen jukebox, which is an mp3 player, just like the ipod, but i think it's actually cheaper. Someone else can look up more on it if they want.

Winamp supports OGG files, OGG is a open source codec, i downloaded a particular album in OGG format, i had a trust "Convert all to WMA" tool which i used to convert the OGG files to WMA.

I was referring to a hardware based player, oh and it's not a very good idea to convert from one lossless code to another . Oggs rock! :D
