there is variation in pathogens...some may have been resistant before the drug, thats possible

Yeah, it's D. The answer B- 'decrease in inflammation allowed pathogens to become resistant' assumes that individual pathogens change and 'become resistant'.
The bacteria become resistant because of natural selection. Any ones that are resistant survive and reproduce. So D is correct.

Hey for Q6, why isnt it C?? If the temperature was less that the cage, it is controlling tis temp by homeostasis and is therefore an endotherm ... right?

Isn't this exactly what survival of the fittest is all about?

Bugs are sprayed with pesticide, 95% die, and 5% have a resistance to it that was ingrained in their system.

Those 5% pass on their genetic structure and then when they are sprayed next time only 10% die or so

Because if you say, the temp of the organism is less than the cage - how can you conclude that it's an endotherm over an ectotherm?
