um twilight became commercialised? pretty sure it was always a mainstream fare even as the book series. Both forms were extremely popular with teen girls from the start because that's their target.

also i wouldnt really say bandwagoning is inevitable. a group of people really enjoying a particular band doesnt usually equate to people "jumping on the bandwagon"

I don't get "mainstream musos", hilltop hoods release a new song that gets a bit of mainstream airplay and bam there #1 fan. I bet not one of them could name a song from the calling (there first album) and 1/2 of them couldn't name any other song except the hard road and the other half would chuck in the nosebleed section.
Erghh, at school over the last week everyones been like "chase that feeling!" and im like its not even that good.
Hilltops best songs are Stopping all stations, dumb enough?.
Thank god i've got hardcore to fall back on, no one knows jack napier, her nightmare, carpathain, shinto katana, hand of mercy.
Yes i know hardcore and aus hip-hop are a weird mix.
It's not that i want to be an individual it's just that bandwagons annoy me, especially when people don't know sh#t.
Ahhh, Carpathian are my favourite band.

So you're upset that people like music you liked first. That's terrible!

Then you go as far as to state your knowledge of super-duper underground hardcore acts such as Carpathian. I mean, they're so underground and unknown that they have actually toured Australia many times and have toured the States a few too. Kudos to you of eclectic and mysterious taste.

When I first read your posted I was puzzled: "Surely a being of intellectual maturity could not have written such an immature and, quite frankly, stupid comment" and, upon further inspection, I was proven right - "HSC - 2010"

You're just a stupid kid. If you hope to make it to the HSC in 2010 then you should be hoping that by then you've grown up.
