So, Im currently doing my HSC now and I am doing only maths and 3 science(chem, phys, bio) as i enjoy doing them. I was wondering which degrees would I enjoy at university providing I enjoy maths and sciences but dislike any English or any english related crap?
I also intend to only apply to USYD, UNSW & UTS only and not for any other university. I also want to do a double degree?
Anyone with experience similar to mine have any suggestions?
Muchly appreciated

Well if you like maths and science then maybe one of the various science degrees seems incredibly logical. So logical that it may not have been worth asking on here.

I agree however, I do not know the science degree experiences you see. Soi was considering Engineering or a Science degree however i was cnsidering any divergent related job so I just thought I could ask the community. I want my options to be open and not so narrowly minded but thanks

You might wish to consider pursuing an advanced science degree, what sort of career path are you interested in-i.e. do you want a specialist position or do you aspire to be a researcher or a university academic or high school teacher or another occupation? Just on a side note, I highly recommend you to change your attitude towards English ASAP-because for the sake of your ATAR-you need to get a good English mark since it will count towards your ATAR, and good written expressions are a must even for scientific reports, don't perceive English and science to be binary opposites. You will also find that in uni, science branches such as physics and chemistry is incredibly maths based-it is very maths intensive.

I was thinking of specializing into something (but then again there are so many science and engineering degrees I would all like to do but realistically you cannot do that, so hence my ambiguity) Yeah I agree for the English section, and I am doing pretty good at it however it's just that I do not enjoy it but if its a must I wouldn't mind- just if I had a choice, I wouldn't choose it! Yeah the maths and science concepts are something I enjoy so I guess I'll do okay at Uni, just unsure how okay!
