1A student wishes to investigate the effect of air temperature on the rate of
transpiration.
She sets up a leafy shoot in water , sets up an artificial light source,
and records the rate at which the water level drops for a range of different air
temperatures.
Which one of the following should she do to help ensure the validity of her
experiment?
(A) She should use the same clock to measure the time for each experiment.
(B) She should ensure that air humidity remains the same throughout.
(C) She should make sure that all tests are done at the same time of day
(D) She should make sure that the air temperature is the same for each test

Thanks in advance =)~~~~~~~~~~~~~:tree:

(A) She should use the same clock to measure the time for each experiment. [Exact time is not important as the transpiration is a slow process]
(B) She should ensure that air humidity remains the same throughout. [The aim of this experiment is to investigate the change in humidity as air temperature varies]
(C) She should make sure that all tests are done at the same time of day [Artificial light is used, so the strenth of sunlight is negligible]
(D) She should make sure that the air temperature is the same for each test [The air temperature is the independant variable, so it is meant to be changed]
