*sigh* Yes and everyone knows newsagency books are expensive. Got to make a profit somehow. :p

Looks like 08ers might be bigger spammers then 07ers. :p
:uhhuh: no point denying, trying to OUTSPAM US? Spam fight b4 the mod's get here :ninja:.

The newsagent books although expensive have better paper - it's actually white and isn't as see through as the cheapo ones but are bulkier to carry around in a folder. Meh I just go to Big W, they're alright.

Newsagent books? :\ Shouldn't it really depend on the BRAND instead of the retailer??

I like Spirax. You know, the yellow ones that are spiral bound.

I have the feeling most pens are imported from Asia. I get the feeling all my pens are made in some Asian country by underpaid child workers. =(

i got A4 Sized 64 page books for 5 cents each at officeworks...

Maths binder books?

You mean the grid ones?

I used one last year, but I don't really like using them.

Yeah. I keep graph paper tucked inside the book if I ever need to do curve sketching or that sort of thing but when I need to work things out step-by-step, I find using the normal lines easier.

I got the 192 page maths binder book from officeworks last year for less than 2 dollars!

That sounds good. Those Maths binder books are convenient, and I can always do measurements on it without using a ruler. But your method is probably better than buying those damn rip-off Newsagency maths books

My friend got Bic smoothies but complained that they go really inky after a while... she always has to wipe the tip of the pens on a piece of scrap paper. Nevertheless, they do write smoothly but i find the triangular grip too bulky.

I like using pilot pens for exams otherwise its kilometrico for me:)

Papermate Kilometrico ones are cheap and write really well, but I wouldn't recommend them for three reasons.

1) poor grip (unless you buy those thingies)
2) they run out relatively quickly
3) THEY CAN OFTEN LEAK ALL OVER YOUR STUFF IN YOUR BAG

It's not worth it. You'd rather pay a few dollars more than have ink all over your stuff in the long run, right? Ink doesn't wash off.

I need to stock up- I think I'll just trial and error.

Otherwise, what you do is just have friends who are doctors/kids of doctors and ask for pens with good grip. (It helps if they have to mark your stuff and you threaten them with bad handwriting.)
