Anyone know when it's supposed to be officially open for use?

It's already open now. Some books are still in the old library but are being moved across slowly. The new library is open though, although the old library is still the first point of contact until the day before we start semester. http://www.mq.edu.au/currentstudents/news/libraryonthemove.html - can't wait to actually get a seat without wandering for half an hour. I only hope they had the sense to put more power points next to the seating . . .

Thanks for the link. With both libraries open there should be much less of a problem finding a seat.

Do you know what will happen to the old building once it's closed? It would be great if they kept it open just for some additional study areas.

Latest news we got was that the new library won't be open till at least the end of March
