erm, i did vitamin C deficiency... i.e. scurvy. lol. but, having not looked at my notes on it for a while, i could only remember like 2 symptoms... so i took a wild stab and guessed depression too. epic fail lol.

its having an extra chromosome 21, you can have translocation of it where it's fused to another chromosome... some kind of error during meiosis isn't it?

yeah, i wish i did down syndrome now. at least i would have known the symptoms correctly.

yes, you will DEFINITELY only lose 1 mark on the Infectious disease you did, and the rest are carried on. So you have potentially scored 4 marks in that Q.

I did lung cancer, you had to know about it for the other dot point and because I am lazy didn't want to do another one.

dw up there ^^^ if you knew about your infectious disease enough, you could have got some marks! i dunno about 4... but yeah carried on error bro. like maths, you can't keep getting penalised for 1 mistake in the HSC. =]

1. pathway of sound THROUGH the ear, thus you needed to draw the ear
2. tympanic membrane detects sound. you had to talk about how you would find out whether it was a tympanic membrane or not through secondary (internet, textbooks, comparing this information describing its structure / function with the actual insect etc) or primary (experiment to determine whether it is a tympanic membrane, i.e. function) sources basically
