haha my station used to have an indicator board, but some idiots vandalised it, and so they got rid of it haha
ooh howd u get to uni if it doesnt stop there?
You've gotta pick your trains wisely. I'll be finished at 3, but theres no train leaving till 3:50. It's a big pain in the ass

i hate trains cause im chrostrophobic (i dont know how to spell it), but no matter what route i take to the city, id have to go through a tunnel of some sort, except for peak hours...

Yeah, pretty much. I'm on myspace atm as well, pretending to type notes. The tutor isnt doing anything i havent heard before. No, no buses. Mum comes to pick me up lol.
Pretty sure its spelt claustrophobic, but i got what you meant. I'm not claustrophobic, I just dont like sitting near strange people, and to be honest there's a few of them on the trains. So since it's only 10 mins i just stand.
I don't mind tunnels so much, except for the bit where my ears start to hurt. that kinda sucks

One man, does not make a team (unless you're Andrew Johns and Newcastle, lol). Personally I think Lockyer's starting to get a little bit past it, so i'll agree with you there. But Lockyer when he was on form a few years back, I don't know about that one

the last 2 pages are soooo boring...

I'm so glad Russel Smith (referee) got dropped after his shocking performance in tigers v manly

Funny how both coaches claimed that- 'does he know the rules ?'

THE LUCK IS ABOUT TO END 4 SHARKS hahaha

Dykes faces three months on NRL sideline

Tuesday, May 9, 2006 - 5:04 PM

Cronulla five-eighth Adam Dykes will miss up to three months of rugby league with a ruptured ankle ligament.

Dykes will require surgery after he injured his ankle in the closing stages of the Sharks' NRL victory over St George Illawarra on Sunday and he won't be able to play for up to 12 weeks.

The news is a huge blow to the resurgent Sharks who had charged into the top eight on the back of three straight wins orchestrated by the veteran half.

Sharks physiotherapist Matt Green said Dykes's injury was similar to that suffered by halfback Brett Kimmorley five weeks ago.

"It is very similar to Brett's ankle injury, with the difference being Adam has completely ruptured the ligament, which means he is likely to require surgery and have a pin put in to stabilise the joint," said Green.

"After that he will be in a boot for about eight weeks before we can do any rehab on the ankle."

The surgery is likely to take place later this week.

Kimmorley is expected to return next week after resuming training on Monday.

Woah, that was such a waste of three minutes .. reading about trains on the NRL thread, how exciting!

I've supported the dragons since I knew what League was. Which growing up in my house meant about 2. I havent changed my mind in the last 18 years and I dont plan to ever. I love the dragons unconditionally. It was more of a lamentation over our inconsistency than a whinge cos we're not doing well.

So in short, I do support the one team.
Awesome, stick around here more to back me up :)

Regarding Dykes, it's such rotten luck. There was no need for the charge-down, the game was already won .. and he cops three months on the sidelines for being extra-committed. Sucks to be him, NSW lose another potential half .. I think it's really time for Joey to come back out of retirement, because we are FUCKED in the halves.

A few crackers this weekend:

Storm vs Cowboys .. 2nd vs 1st, what else to say?
Broncos vs Sea Eagles .. two of the form sides at the moment.
Tigers vs Knights .. pre-Benji, this was a 40 point win for Newcastle. Now, it is suddenly the match of the round, Tigers were awesome on the weekend.

Should hopefully see some close matches!
