bought the arcade console. talk about ripping people off. yesterday the deal at big w was $279 with none in stock. they get it back in stock today, $328. fuck me dead what cunts. i also bought cod4 goty edition $80. stas help me out with this free game you keep talking about.

A random question about the arcade version of the 360. It doesn't have the hard drive, but is that the only difference? Can I plug the hard drive I currently have with my 360 onto an arcade version 360? My 360 is probably close to dying but i'm not sure whether to buy the arcade version or the normal 360 to replace it.
Three differences:
1) no hdd
2) no HD cables (if your TV has HDMI, you could just buy a generic HDMI cable and save moneyz)
3) The disc drive isn't silver (doesn't affect performance though)
You can plug your current HDD into your arcade console and it'd work.

i just found something interesting though that I havent heard of before (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/compare101.htm?WT.svl=nav) apparently the arcade version doesn't let you play original xbox games? strange - I though all it requires is a download, not something internal. If thats the case then i'll definitely only have the option of buying the original xbox 360, as I often use it for original xbox games aswell. Never heard of this aspect before.

as long as your xbox has a hard drive you should be able to play original xbox games.
