I can't work out who the girl who gave him the book was - e.g. friend, sister or what?
I think she lives with them.... ?
And are Lucas's uncle and mum going out?
And are Lucas and Nathan full or half-brothers ?

Girl who gave Chad the book - his bestfriend, Haley. Good friends with Chad's mother.
I don't know if she lives w/ them... i don't think so. She's just over alot cos she's a close family friend.
Lucas' uncle and his mum.. dunno if they're going out. Probably like each other, or have dated in the past (before Lucas was born, i dunno just guessing).
Lucas and Nathan are half brothers. Same dad, different mothers. Lucas is the bastard son cos Lucas' parents never married. Nathan's parents did. And Nathan & Lucas' dad is a wanker.

And I've figured out which chik the Chad got engaged to in real life.. it's Sophia Bush, who plays Brooke (the fugly blonde cheerleader's bestfriend), and she's a cheerleader aswell. Got introduced tonight.

As much as i love this show already, they got it wrong casting Chad as the dorky loser brother. He is WAY too hot to be a fukn dork (juss cos he reads..)

Okay, I haven't watched an entire episode yet, so I don't know too much of what's going on. But, if they're only half-brothers, and Luke doesn't really like his biological father, and only lives with his mum, how come both Nathan and Luke's surname is 'Scott' (as seen on basketball singlet or whatever).

Also, for those that like Chad Michale Murray, he was also in 'Whatever it Takes' I think...ages ago with that girl from 'The Practice'. I'm pretty sure its him, but not 100% certain.

I thought it was pretty good. Some of the lines were a bit corny - too 'follow your heart' for me - but i'm sure it'll pick up. I'm thinking the other guy is better looking than chad (...), but his characters a prick.
