My cousin told me about it, he says its like CS but better.

It seems he's kinda right.

You make an account, download the game, then vs ppl online (fps), and gain points for kills, and with points u can buy stuff to customize ur character, eg new cap, new character, new mask, new clothes, and then u can buy new weapons and equip them for use next time u go into a match.

lots of procrastination potential, check it out ppl.

YOU CAN CUSTOMISE HOW UR CHARACTER LOOKS!!!!

and before anyone mentions it, theres more customisation options than UT3, unless ur some insane character modeller.

If i wanted character customization, id stick to Rainbow 6 or to a lower extent, Halo3.

It's nothing compared to CS, its a crapload better, alright, let me put it this way...

If god came down to earth and made a multiplayer FPS, it would be this...(points to COD4 game box)

CS:S and COD4 are two completely different games.

Yes both are FPS's, but it would be like saying Halo and MoH are identical.

CS:S offers no unlocks or secrets, but a huge online community and mods.

COD4 offers unlocks and secrets (golden guns), but the online community is mediocre and mods are rare.

Game mode, there are other modes on there like Death Match and the such where you just spawn with the guns you want and run amok until someone reaches a indicated score.

Its just a mod on the games engine, like gungame and Zombie mod.

The no respawn thing is to push the meaning of teamwork and caution. Its a counter terroism simulator, heck the Mexican police use a modified engine to train its swat members.

If you play COD4 online, you will for ever compare FPS games with it.

Yes, but you must realise the community is growing at an alarming rate, and mods are being created all the time, so soon enough, it will be as big, if not bigger, then CS.

mhm cod4 seems big, and there's its sequel coming out too, wonder if it'd make cod4 obsolete, or mabe the multiplayerness will be integrated...
