I met my gf online. Because I'm gay, it is hard to meet people who want a relationship. I tried the clubs, but alot of the people you meet there have very different interests to me. i.e. their whole life is centralised around clubbing.

I didn't go online with the intention of "I want a girlfriend" it was more that I wanted to make some 'like-minded' friends. It just so happened that I had alot in common with one of the girls I was talked to, so she asked me if I wanted to go out for coffee pretty much straight away, and we hit it off.

For me, I don't really mind that I met her online. She's an amazing girl, and I know that I wouldn't have met her otherwise. But I don't really like the stigma that comes with.
