Only a few more weeks of Year 11 before HSC year. How are you feeling?

I can't wait for the holidays and to finish Year 11, but I don't want to start the HSC. I'm not ready. Stress, stress and more stress. :(

Anyway, are you prepared? Are you excited?

HSC is easy. Make sure you keep the rank up and only stress your little hearts out from the trials onwards :p

Remember to get a UAI over 95 either have all subjects over about 88 or 89% OR have all subjects over 80% but at least two subjects over 95%. It's just that easy!

We don’t get to start hsc course too about 3/4/ the way through term 4 ( we are behind) so that feels like ages! I sort of want to start the hsc because maybe it will make me study better and stuff.

For you yr 11 ers: MAKE THOSE TWO WEEK HOLIDAYS COUNT.

The pleasure of "nothing to do" holidays will not be available to you for at least a year and a few weeks. Relax as much as you can before the HSC year. Youve got a hard slog ahead of you.

the marks are regarding the percentage marks you get in school by doing assessments and exams and stuff right?

and yeah, only a few weeks of year 11 left. i'm actually looking forward to year 12. i can't wait until the very last exam of the HSC. the feeling would be awesome! then it's parties, parties, holidays, holidays and shopping sprees! :p

You do not want to study in those two weeks, trust me. Its far better to have a break, relax, and do all the things you love doing. Then, once you go back in term 4, hit the ground running.

yeah, try to settle into the HSC year as soon as possible. It makes a big difference in the long run. Might not always happen, but just try your best to settle into all the changes and adjustment esp the feeling that, "THIS IS IT!" lol

No the end result - the aligned marks shown on your HSC certificate.

So no matter what you will need to do work throughout the year :p

it's freaky in terms of coping through the HSC and the increasing studyload, but yeah it's great since it's the final year and we get to make more decisions and soon extra freedom. about the next holiday break, make it stress-free cos it'll be the last one for a while until late november next year.

i've already had a taste of the trials, and in a term i'll have a taste of what the HSC atmosphere is like.
