So, is oral actual sex or is it just fooling around? (aka Bill Clinton stylez)

Also, would you consider a gay guy or girl who has only had sex with other guys or girls to be non-virgins?

Discuss.

Well...
yes and no

The term 'sex' has different meanings.
It can be in relation to sexual intercourse and therefore reproduction.
But it is also used to describe sexual activities, such as oral.

In my eyes "real" sex is the former (ie intercourse).
But oral is still a form of sex.

I don't think it's sex in so far as saying you could lose your virginity by having oral.
Still a sexual activity though.

Oral sex IS a form of sex.. but you said is oral sex = 'REAL' sex? The only 'real sex' I know of is intercourse. But hey, subjective opinion.

...Because it's just a name -- same (similar?) logic; I could call it "playing" and suddenly it's innocent enough for preschool kids to do.

Don't know... I said it's somewhere in-between; a class of it's own -- in the same genre, but not sex per se.

Nah oral is very different from real sex. You ARE still a virgin even if you've been blown.

Glad all you guys are with me on this one. Oral is just oral, it so isnt sex when there is no penetration. I posed the question because my bestie's bf whom she was on a break with told her that he got a blow job off his ex and according to him it wasnt sex. I think in this situation, oral could constitue sex when it is with someone who isnt your partner.
