Hey I was just wondering, do past paper books organise questions based on topics or the papers themselves. What Im trying to say is how are the books organised, do they simply order the 2003, 04, 05, ..... papers in order. Or do they have sections for Complex numbers, polynomials etc with a series of related questions from past papers.

If their simply papers in order, whats the point of getting one? You can get them off the Board of studies website cant you???

Past papers are organised in order of the year usually.

But some past paper textbooks kindly have some kind of table on the inside cover of the book to show the type of questions in the past paper and the year.

So for example, if there is a topic called Complex Number, on the inside cover, they show a range of questions related to Complex Number throughout the past papers (year, page number, question number in that paper).

Ook thanks. So yeah they can be quite useful in that when you finish a topic, you can relate to specific questions. Although, it probably wont be a good idea because from what I know, exams tend to stick more than 1 topic in a question...
