This afternoon my brother got a text message on his phone. Instead of a number it said PDHPE exam and in the message it said "very well done (his actual name) ! it looks as though a band 6 is coming your way.

Anyone else got a message like this?

LOL, it's possible for someone to send a message from a particular ID. Everyone in my grade got a Rick Roll from our "Deputy Principal" a couple of weeks ago.

That's plenty of time for people to mark all the exams and even give a complementary text message to those who got band 6s

this was most likely done using the "joke SMS" feature on the following website:

which allows you to change the caller ID and send a prank text 2 a friend.
