how much are these worth with respect to the actual labs? i know overall the labs are worth 20% of the final mark.. so is it 10% for each of the prelab and the lab? god i hope not, the prelabs are bullshit

Just copy your friend's prelab. Prelabs don't matter don't matter that much, if you get it wrong the instructor explains why it's wrong and corrects it and you get on with your usual lab.

Prelabs are worth 25% of your total lab mark, I believe. So overall, the prelab online tests are 5% and the actual lab marks are 15%.
