Tattoo

Hey guys im going to canberra soon and im thinking of getting a tat. i want to get something that i wont regret in 20yrs. any sugestions? i like this snow flake.
Can u recommend any good places in canberra to go? hows the pain?

if you're gettin something like that which is basically just an outline it won't hurt too much - the shading in hurts the most.

depends where you get it too, mine is on the back of my neck and it was unpleasant. things like your foot will hurt.

i like the snowflake if you're worried you won't like it in 20yr don't get it done. or get it somewhere you can't see it every day

gah, tell me about it! i'm now day 4 post tatt and it's still so sore and now it's all scabbing and i'm trying hard to keep the scab on so the colour will be okay

in hindsight i should've had it done when i knew i had days off work. neck tatt + work shirt collar = irritating.
plus i've been working with a patient with VRE and MRSA doing individual nursing so i'm paranoid that i'll become infected with both in the tattoo wound. blah.

Make sure that it's small enough so that when you have laser removal people wont notice the scars too much.

i got my first tatt in feb.. on my left shoulder blade. i was freaking that it would hurt but was determined to get it. cuz i dedicated it to my pop who passed away a few years ago.. i hate needles but have always wanted a tatt.. it didnt hurt at all.. i had it coloured in and shaded too..one spot was pricked slightly harder then the rest, other than that it felt great... im just trying to figure out what i want for my second one. then im off to get it!!!!

the only thing i'd consider getting tattooed is a small treble clef, somewhere near my hipbone (i dont know which side)

but i'm too chicken to get it done - and besides i dont really have the money to get it done anyway. i think i'd get my tongue pierced before i got a tattoo haha and im too scared to get that

I have both my ears pierced twice.
On my birthday i am getting my tongue done and a month after that i am getting my belly button done.
And i also want both my ears done once more. And than my right one done a fourth time.

I am planning on getting my nose pierced (and i have been for a while)

PROBLEM!
*i have a small freckle on my upper lip on the left side

therefore which side should i get the peircing on?

I finally got my nose pierced!!!!
and right now I'm wearing a tiny diamond stud
it cost me 30 bucks.


umm I reckon you should still do ur left side :uhhuh:
I think the lesoz do their right side, not sure tho :/

I think you should just get it pierced on the left side. I think it would look fine. But than again...it really does depend on what YOU want.

i didnt know that there were any connotations towards sexuality

i was thinking i will look like i will topple over if i get it on the left

and look strategically balanced if i get it on the right

p.s. i'm an overthinker.. obviously

oh, I got it done in some chemist called ' Blooms the Chemist' down in Westpoint, Blacktown.

yeah the $30 did include the jewellery, but they didn't use a nose stud.......instead they used those small ear studs, which I had to wear for 2 weeks. I changed it afterwards tho.

with the $30.... they also gave me a spray, which I had to use for about 4 weeks or so :uhhuh:

and they used a gun. I heard that the needles aren't that safe or something :/

um, its heaps better to use a needle than a gun .. the needle pierces it, the gun pretty much just works like a hole-puncher with a blunt earring. not cool.

LoL...I've thought about my tongue ring for so long that i know the exact position i want it in... ^^;;

You do have a point with the topple over thought though...
And i have to say that i have never heard of the sexual connotations for nose piercings either and my best friend has been talking about getting hers done for quite awhile.

I know that there are sexual connotations for a tongue ring...but nose?
