hi yall. just received all my term 1 and 2 marks.
i'll write in the format t1 mark, t2 mark, overall avg, estimated rank.
i dropped to std maths after 1 term of advanced, so my t1 mark will be an estimate of my other marks. and we didn't have a term 2 assessment for ext english.

eng adv: 74, 76, 75, (around 18/36)
eng ext: 80, N/A, 80, (8/10)
maths std: N/A, 94, 94, (5/50)
food tech: 90, 91, 91, (3/16)
design tech: 85, 60, 73 (2/5)
bio: 100, 93, 96, (2/16)
& i did pdhpe accelerated last year, received a 91 overall.

i bombed design tech and am ACTIVELY working to get that mark back up. and english, idk. I'm trying...
what kind of atar am i looking at? any tips for how to get better?

drop design and tech and focus on english best sol, it won't count towards your atar anyways... I can't give you an estimate but if you pull up the english adv mark you can receive a 90+ atar (don't kill me if im wrong) just focus on that its the main contributor to your atar.

From what I can see, a 91 HSC score in English advanced is an atar contribution of 96.9. a 91 HSC score in PDHPE is an atar contribution of 94.8

i'm not looking to drop design tech as i want to do architecture in uni and wanna try for portfolio entry for usyd and unsw. also it's the only subject i genuinely enjoy lol i just bombed the exam because it was an extended response and i misunderstood the question
