2.4Ghz if im not mistaken. None of them go any higher than that as far as AMD is concerned.
Oh yeah, it is 2.4, just checked .. wonder where I got my random numbers from. Too many cores, confusing! Should just overclock a winnie 939 and be done with it ;) Although I am entirely happy with my claw. Roar.

Just *acquired* Sandra 2005, turns out my core is actually a Newcastle and not a Clawhammer.

The low end A64 Clawhammers seem to be based on an "old" Clawhammer core. The only real difference is that it is ever so slightly faster than the old Clawhammer and overclocks a bit better aswell.

These new processors are getting ludicrously hard to identify.

i took a picture of my wardrobe today (see attached)

from the bottom right we have:

1 hp pa-risc machine (visualize c200, hppa machines are pretty hard to find in au)
on top of that are 3 486s
on top of them (facing away) are 2 sparc stations (manufactured by sun)
on top of them are 2 pentium 100s
on top of the pentiums are 3 indys (manufactured by sgi, my favourites of the bunch)
in the gap between on top of a 486 there is a side ways sparc ipc (another sun box)
on top of the ipc is an external floppy drive and some other bits and bobs.

down to the bottom again

the monitor on the bottom is an sgi monitor, weighs a ton but in its day was way ahead of its time.
on top of the monitor is a boring x86 box
on top of that is an sgi "floptical drive" ive never quite worked out exactly what it is, but it has a cd drive in it and maybe another hard drive (?)
then there is a stack of old hard drives
next to them (side on) is another sgi monitor on top of some old crappy speakers i cant bring myself to throw away. if you are really keen you can see the netcomm roadster box :D

a have a 3rd sgi monitor out of sight, as you can see the wardrobe is pretty full so ive put it in my sisters.

and that was a stroll through my hardware graveyard. hope you liked it :D

Pentium 333.
64mb ram.
Whopping 2gb hard disk.
12" monochrome monitor I hacked to make it display orange and black. WHOAR.

I'll upload pics to my 36kbps dedicated server if you want, but you guys will have to be gentle with it; it can only handle 1 request at a time...

I rule.

You could've used CPU ID to identify it as well.

CPUID

Yeah I put a little much faith in Sandra, even though I knew it wasnt really up to date with the latest CPU's.

400gb's has uses, like music and porn. 2gb's of ram is pretty useless unless you've got 15 screens running with all diff things on it...

400Gbs unneccessary, hah! i have 70% of it filled and i'm looking to buy another 200gigger. that's what you get when you have legally obtained series of tv-shows and DVDs.

either that or if you're running a server with Citrix.

I wouldn't call 400gig too much either, as a general rule with hard drives, the more you have the quicker you use it.

If I had 400 gigs, I would set up LAN parties with friends and just leech there whole comp, install every game on my comp and hold image backups and run everything off virtual drives. Then as I near full I would start space saving measures. In this way, my hard drives always seem at about 80% full.
